![]() | Avatar the Last Airbender: Book 3 (Not the Real Trailer) READ THIS FIRST!!! I've seen quite a few little teaser trailers made by YouTubers for their interpretation of the upcoming season 3 of Avatar the Last Airbender, and I decided to do one myself. Only this one is much different. All the trailers I've seen are for the Fire Nation, so I decided to step away from the crowd ad do something different. And before all of you Fire Nation lovers or Avatar Fanatics get all "it could never be air because all the airbenders are dead" first watch the video, it will make sense why I decided to do it the way I did. Be sure to tell me what you think! Enjoy! EDIT: Because I've gotten so many complaints and even harassed through e-mail, I am going to clear up a few things. 1.) I knew when I made this from start to finish that book three was going to be fire, but I wanted to do something different, an "outside the box" sort of thing that no one else had done. 2.) There is no specific learning cycle for the Elements. Aang tried to learn fire before earth, remember? 3.) Yes, Aang has been to the Eastern temple, but not the Western and while there, he never opened the Eastern temple doors that the Northern and Southern had. 4.) YES, for the last time, I know perfectly well that it consists of clips from book 1 and 2. I made it, I'm not that stupid. 5.) It's called a TEASER trailer, as in not the REAL thing, so please stop making retarded comments about how it's not the real book three trailer. Hopefully that will cut down some of the very dumbass comments and harassment I keep getting. Also, to help the matter I have changed the name to "not the real trailer." So to all those idiots out there who state the obvious: NOT THE REAL TRAILER!!! DISCLAIMER: I do not own Avatar the Last Airbender, Nickelodeon, or Naruto |
![]() | Camp Rock the Book, Chapter 14 part 3, Read Description Chapter 14 part 3 Once again, Brown took the stage, this time to introduce the first act--the It Girls. Taking a deep breath, Tess--minus the other It Girls--walked onto the stage. Scanning the crowd, her eyes stopped on Connect Three's table. She was about to shoot them a smile when she saw someone else--a glamorous woman, dressed like a movie star, taking her seat in the back row. People started to stir and crane their necks to see her as she stopped to sign autographys. Tess's eye lit up. "Mom?" she whispered, hardly believing her mother had really made it. Reenergized, Tess snapped to and took her opening pose. The music started, and she began her routine, singing and dancing her heart out. Her eues were glued to her mother in the audience, as if she was performing just for her. Tess jutted her hip, threw up her arm, and then spun and turned, focusing again on her mother...who was checking her cell phone. T.J. scooted out of the row to take a call. She wasn't even watching Tess anymore. Tess deflated. She tried to keep up with the steps she'd practiced a hundred times, but her mind was elsewhere, and she missed a beat. She slipped and fell to the floor. Trying to take it in stride, Tess sprang back to her feet, but she couldn't keep up. The magic was gone...and so was her mother. Letting out a strangled cry, Tess ran offstage. Brown took the stage once again. After all, the show had to go on. He quickly introduced the next act--Barron James, Sander loya, and the Hasts La Vista Crew. The curtain opened to reveal the group, who quickly jumped into a hot reggaeton number. The crowd responded by surging to their feet. A few people held up their glow sticks, waving them into the darkening sky. When their song was finished, several more acts followed until Brown once again took the stage. "Well," he said, "it looks like that's all for tonight--" Suddenly, Dee ran up to him, handing him a scrap pf paper. Brown read it, surprise coming over his face. "Seems like we have a laast-minute addition," he announced. "Come on up, Margaret Dupree." The crowd looked at each other and shrugged, clapping. Backstage, Ella was just as confused. "Who's Margaret?" she asked quietly. "Me," Peggy answered, walking up to join her friend. Ella nodded, smiling. "Go, Margaret!" she cheered as Peggy ran onto the stage and took her place in the spotlight. When Peggy opened her mouth, a soulful, deep voice came out. Years of frustration at playing second fiddle to Tess poured out of her. She was amazing! She strutted up and down the stage, belting out her song with a confidence the crowd--including Connect Three--had never seen before. In the audience, glow sticks were going crazy. The crowd loved Peggy and her energy. Finishing the song, she took a triumphant bow. As she ran off the stage, blowing kisses at the audience, Tess called out her name. "What?" Peggy said, ready to fight. But Tess had no fight left in her. "You were really good," she said quietly. "And if you're good, somebody should tell you." Peggy smiled. "Thanks." Turning to go, Tess threw out one more surprise. "And I'm sorry," she said. "I know, I know," Brown was saying from the stage, as he tried to settle the crowd still going wild from Peggy's showstopping performance. "I guess that's it. It's officially the end of Final Jam. And time for our judges to go off in private and, well, judge," he said gesturing to Connect Three. Shane, Nate, and Jason stood up and made their way to the back of the theater. Brown turned to leave the stage, when all of a sudden, music blared fromthe speakers. The crowd, which had started to get up, quickly shuffled back to their seats. Looking over at the wings, Brown saw Mitchie and Caitlyn geaturing wildly to him. Trying to hide his smile, he walked over. "It's the end of Final Jam," Mitchie said when he joined them. "I hoped you would catch on," he said, letting his smile finally show. "Now, go out there and steal their hearts." |
![]() | DOULOS in Madagascar 2004 (the crowd) A video clip of one Sunday afternoon in Toamasina ... the Crowd qued up and waited for a visit to DOULOS. www.doulos.org Toamasina book fair Oct, 2004 :: Over the weekend, over 18,000 visitors came on board, swamping the book fair. Most of the titles on board are heavily discounted in recognition of the fact that many in the local community have very limited resources. Add to that the novelty of having ice cream on the world's oldest ocean going passenger ship and it becomes apparent why there was such a long queue at the book fair coffee bar. |
![]() | Revenge of the Book-Eaters Chicago - Dave Eggers reads an excerpt from his upcoming biographical novel, "What is the What," with subject Valentino Achak Deng - a very drunk Ira Glass introduces "Ben Gibbard," who turns out to be surprise guest Fred Armisen (he kept saying really mean, vulgar things and then being like "ANYWAY, LIKE I SAID, I'M BEN GIBBARD.") - Elia (of The Scotland Yard Gospel Choir), Ben Gibbard and John Roderick (of The Long Winters) team up to do the Neil Diamond song "Porcupine Pie" (it was promised that they would perform a N.D. song together if the crowd donated upwards of $5000). GREAT show! so fun, and for a good cause, even! this isn't even a fraction of the spectacles that occurred. |

![]() | The Odyssey - Book 1: Changing Your Crowd I decided not to edit this, although I know I should have. Please excuse the stuttering and pauses. (Even after 3 years of doing audio-visual work at school, I still don't have that good camera presence, projection, and voice.) I'll work on that. ^_^ I'd like to point out that this is not the entire story - only the meat that is relevant to Momo's video. I really did enjoy hanging out and talking to these people. It's just that the differences between us were significant enough to cause problems. I'd also like to point out that I forgot to mention that I agree with Momo and said gentleman. One should never be afraid to rough it out by himself. In fact, it may not even be that rough. One may learn things from solitude that were overlooked in the presence of company. Loneliness can be very enlightening. Comment, rate, subscribe. b^_^d www.myspace.com/thekingofithica |
