THE DUTTONS

'The Duttons' are a family band of nine adults plus five children that play everything from bluegrass to classical music. Until August 7, they were competitors on the 2007 season of ''America's Got Talent''. The Duttons are a family of entertainers that own and operate a theater, motel, and deli in Branson, Missouri. The Duttons were sent onto the second round of ''America's Got Talent''.
The Duttons have had at least two PBS shows dedicated to them.
They are:

★ 'Dean' (aka Dad) - rhythm guitar, bass (voice)

★ 'Sheila' (aka Mom) - double bass

★ 'Timothy' - specializes in guitar and mandolin, co-manager is married to 'Judith' - keyboard and they have three children: 'Jessica' - fiddle, 'Rachel' - fiddle, and 'Timmy' - actor

★ 'Jonathan' - comic relief, banjo, electric bass, guitar, mandolin, is married to 'Belle' - dancer, and together they have four children: 'Natalia', 'Selena', 'Leila', and 'Nathanael'

★ 'Amy' - stage manager, fiddle, is married to 'Rudy' - lighting designer and together they have three children: 'Gabriel', 'Julian', and 'Damian'

★ 'Benjamin' - choreographer, cello, mandolin, fiddle, is married to 'Brande', singer, dancer, fudge chef, and together they have four boys: 'Benjamin', 'Isaac', 'Christian', and 'Luke'.

★ 'Abigail' - fiddle, banjo is married to 'Adam', personal trainer and together they have two children: 'Gracie', and 'Seth', with one of the way.

★ 'Josh' - percussion, harmonica is married to 'Evette' - vocals, bass, piano and together they have two children: 'Joshua', and 'Elena'

★ 'Jenny' is the eldest of the children and actually has a master's degree in violin performance, though she does not perform with the family. This is the "only Dutton with a real job" and lives and works in California.
Dean and Sheila Dutton began teaching their children classical violin as a way to instill discipline in their children. The family began touring and performing around the United States, Europe, and Asia. The family settled in Branson in the mid 1990s where they were invited into the Boxcar Willie Theatre prior to the legend's death.
