'''The East Carolinian''' is the student newspaper of East Carolina University in Greenville, NC USA. It is entirely student-run and independent from the university. ''The East Carolinian'' dates back to Dec. 1925. The ECU Student Media Board "provides oversight and direction to the student newspaper"[1] The paper has a circulation of over 24,000, published every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during the fall and spring semesters.
