'''The One''' is R&B singer Frankie J's third album. It was released in March 22, 2005 and debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 Chart and R&B Chart. His first single, Obsession (No Es Amor) had been receiving heavy rotation on radio stations finally making its peak in the top 5 of Billboard 100's.
On October 11, 2005, ''The One'' saw a re-release in a Dual - Disc format which included a cover single of the song ''More Than Words'' by the late 80's/early 90's Extreme (band) with the DVD portion offering the whole album in enhanced stereo quality sound with the ''More Than Words'' music video (in both English and Spanish) and a behind the scenes look with Frankie J, "Along For the Ride"
''The One'' has since gone platinum in the U.S and has gone on to be certified with sales exceeding 3 million copies worldwide.
