'"The Prince of Wails"' is the fifth episode of the science fiction television show ''Sliders''. It originally aired on April 12 1995.
The Sliders land on a world where the Kingdom of Great Britain won the Revolutionary War, and Arturo's double is a powerful government figure.
★ Several first season episodes were originally shown out of order. This episode was intended to be aired third (as indicated by the production number) but was instead shown fifth.
★ The beginning of the episode, in which the sliders are climbing to the top of a building with San Fransisco buried under the ocean is the continuation of the cliffhanger in the episode Summer of Love in which it ended with the sliders landed in a San Fransico about to be hit by a Tidal Wave. Since this episode was first aired before Summer of Love, the beginning was confusing.
★ During its run in sydication (before they stoped showing reruns), they aired this episode in the order it was meant to be and that being episode 3 and after Summer of Love

★ America lost the American Revolution and still is controlled by Britain. As a result the Russian, French and China revolution never happened.
