'"The Secret Code"' is the 117th episode of NBC sitcom ''Seinfeld''. This was the 7th episode for the 7th season. It aired on November 9, 1995.
George refuses to tell his ATM code to Susan. Elaine dates a friend of Jerry, the forgetful Fred (played by Fred Stoller). Appliance store owner Leapin' Larry wants Jerry to do spots for his store, but he is angered when he thinks Jerry is doing an impression of him when his foot falls asleep. Kramer gets an emergency band scanner and decides to help at the New York Fire Department.
Elaine doesn't want to go on a date with her boss, J. Peterman, so she leaves Jerry and George at the restaurant. Jerry ends up leaving, but George is stuck with Peterman. After dinner, Peterman is driving George home when Peterman receives a call that his mother (played by Ellen Albertini Dow) is in the hospital. They rush to her side. George remains at the hospital, and believing Peterman's mother is unconscious, he reveals his ATM code ("Bosco") to her. Somehow, she seizes upon the word, which she repeats over and over; it becomes her dying word(s).
George's code is needed in a life or death situation. Even so, he is reluctant to reveal his code again.
