Half-price theatre ticket booths

The Society operates the only official half-price London theatre (theater) ticket booths, in Leicester Square and Canary Wharf DLR Station, from which tickets for a number of theatres can be bought by personal callers only—there is no telephone number—mostly at half-price plus service charge (of £2.50 as of 2006) on the day of performance only

★ Leicester Square, Mon-Sat: 10:00 to about 18:45

★ Leicester Square, Sun 13:00 to about 14:45

★ Canary Wharf, Mon-Fri only: 10:00 to about 15:15
Full details, and the list of shows for which tickets were available at the start of the day, are on the tkts website. Some tickets may sell out during the day.
After the official ticket booth in Leicester Square was set up, a number of other ticket agencies nearby put up large signs calling themselves official half-price ticket sellers, perhaps to attract those who knew that there was a booth in the area, but not its exact location. These are unrelated to the official sites, and should not be relied upon. The official booths have signs with their name, "tkts".
