THE WORRYING KIND
"'The Worrying Kind'" is a rock song performed by The Ark, written and composed by Ola Salo. It was released as the second single of the their fourth album, ''Prayer for the Weekend''. On March 10 2007 the song won Melodifestivalen 2007 and therefore became Sweden's Eurovision 2007 entry. The song won both the jury and public vote.
The song includes the lyric "just a mortal with potential of a superman", taken from the 1971 David Bowie song "Quicksand". Similarities have also been drawn with the 1970 Edison Lighthouse one-hit-wonder "Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes)". The song was directly qualified for the Final of Eurovision Song Contest in Finland on the 12th of May due to Carola Häggkvist's fifth place in last years contest. In the finals, the song got 51 points and finished number 18.
The song held the top of the Swedish charts in 4 weeks. It was also tested on Svensktoppen, where it entered the list on 15 April 2007. The first week, it finished 3rd.
