THISTLEBOON

The village of 'Thistleboon' is perched on the high lands in the south east corner of the Gower peninsula, Swansea.
Much of the area is on steep hilly terrain set quite high above sea level. The roads are a mix of quiet residential streets and winding country lanes. The housing stock is a broad mix ranging from small bungalows to large mansions. In the early millennium decade the area saw a new development of Barratt homes. Just off Plunch lane, there are some huge new houses.
Much of Swansea's wealthy elite live here. Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas have a large house here.
