'Three Rivers' is a local government district in Hertfordshire in the East of England. Its council is based in Rickmansworth.
It was formed on 1 April 1974 by the merger of Rickmansworth Urban District and Chorleywood Urban District with part of Watford Rural District. The three rivers of the name are the Chess, Gade and Colne.

Train services in the district are provided by Chiltern Railways (CR) and the Metropolitan Line of the London Underground (LU) who serve the stations at:

Chorleywood served by CR and LU

Croxley LU only

Moor Park LU only

Rickmansworth CR and LU
The track and stations are owned by London Underground.
A special fare structure exists as the stations are outside the Greater London boundary although much of the district is within the north westerly bounds of the M25 motorway and the London commuter belt.
Another station, Carpenders Park, is served by Silverlink on the London - Watford line.
