![]() | Camaro Starting and Full Throttle Gas Pedal Revving The Camaro takes several starts, some pumping and alot hard, full throttle gas pedal revving to fully warm up the engine. New Balance running shoes. |
![]() | Heel Toe - Advanced Driving Technique Step 1: Apply the brakes with your right foot. The braking continues all four steps. Step 2: Depress the clutch pedal with your left foot. Step 3: While still on the brakes, roll your right foot to the right and onto the throttle pedal to raise (or "blip") the engine's speed (rpm) to match the expected wheel speed. Step 4: At the same time move the shifter into the next-lower gear. Step 5: Release the clutch pedal. If braking continues, you can repeat steps 2-5 again for another downshift until you reach the gear you want to be at. |

![]() | Coronado Speed Festival 2008 - Group 2 Mike Sweeney driving a 1963 Porsche 356B. Started fourth despite winning the previous day's qualifying race. Worked up to the lead, turning a fast lap of 1:23.7 in the process, only to have a minor mechanical failure end his day. No damage to the car, which runs great when both carbs are connected to the throttle pedal. Mike Sweeney also drives the #191 APR Motorsport Volkswagen GTI in the ST class of the Grand Am KONI Challenge. |

![]() | Honda Fit-Blitz Throttle Controller- OFF and SP3 comparison Tried to reduce as many variables to show a comparison of OFF mode and SP3 mode. Here are the controlled factors: Used D mode instead of S mode to show shifting done by car CPU instead of driver, stepped on pedal 90-100% from 0-50mph. Differences that can be seen: Car CPU uses all of the RPM range in SP3 mode vs OFF mode, [really subtle difference]initial RPM jumps a little quicker in SP3 mode than OFF mode. Differences I noticed that can't be seen: The initial instant jolt when starting in SP3 mode vs OFF mode, once reached 50 mph and foot is on pedal to cruise pressing the pedal lightly will accelerate the car in SP3 mode vs having to press the pedal a lot further to accelerate in OFF mode. |
![]() | Children's Electric Truck Ride-On, First Test Run I am in in the process of building a small electric child's ride-on. The unit was entirely designed and constructed by myself. In the end, it should look like an old Dodge Power Wagon. The body isn't completed and there is still a good amount of work to be done but the major functional components are in. The throttle pedal isn't finalized in position however. This is the first functional test with my two daughters who are 6 and 4 years old. |
![]() | 2007 Altima 3.5SE 6MT 0-100mph acceleration #2 After my 1st launch, I immediately decided that it was pathetic and stopped to get a fresh start. When I stopped, you'll notice the engine revving - yeah, that's my sticky throttle pedal. I have to curl my toe under the pedal and lift it up to make it stop. |
