'Tilbury' (2001 population 4,534) is a community west of Chatham and east of Windsor in the municipality of Chatham-Kent, Ontario, Canada.

The automotive industry is a significant one in Tilbury; citing many notable establishments, such as The Tilbury Auto Mall, and numerous manufacturing plants, including ArvinMeritor (Formerly Rockwell International), Woodbridge Foam, Siemens Canada Limited, Autoliv , plus numerous others.
Geographically, Tilbury is close to two major highways, including Highway 401. It's also very close to the border crossings in Windsor, Ontario. Tilbury is the largest urban area located adjacent to Ontario Provincial 401 between Windsor and London.
Tilbury is also home of the Titans of Tilbury District High School. This is a smaller school with a population of around 450.
Famous residents include actress Margaret Mather.
