TODD HEAP

'Todd Benjamin Heap' (born March 16, 1980 in Mesa, Arizona) is an American football player who currently plays tight end for the Baltimore Ravens in the National Football League. He went to Arizona State University. He was a star football player at every level of competition, including the high school level. Heap holds the record for most two-point conversions in a single season, with four, during his 2003 season with Baltimore.

Early years

At Mountain View High School in Mesa, Heap broke many school records, including career receptions (87) and most touchdown catches in a game (three). He also finished his high school career with 1377 career receiving yards. He won numerous awards including Super All-State honors and Arizona 5A Player of the Year. In the state championship game, he threw a 26-yard touchdown pass. Heap chose to go to Arizona State University where he played for both Bruce Snyder and Dirk Koetter.

College career

At Arizona State, he finished his college career with the tight end reception record, catching 115 passes. The record had previously been held by Ken Dyer.

Heap is also featured in an Under Armour commercial.
Heap is known for his popularity with Baltimore Ravens fans, who serenade him by chanting "Heeeeeeeap" after big plays.
