TRADE AND INVESTMENT FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT

A 'Trade and Investment Framework Agreement' (or 'TIFA') is a trade pact which establishes a framework for expanding trade and resolving outstanding disputes between countries.
TIFAs are often seen as an important step towards establishing Free Trade Agreements.
