TREASURE VALLEY

'Treasure Valley' is a region in southwestern Idaho which includes the five-county Boise Metropolitan Area (Ada, Boise, Canyon, Gem and Owyhee), as well as Payette County and Washington County in Idaho and portions of Malheur County in eastern Oregon.It is more often known as the area where the Payette, Boise, Weiser, and Malheur Rivers converge into the Snake River.The Oregon communities of Ontario and Nyssa are particularly associated with the region.
