TWELVE GAUGE VALENTINE

'Twelve Gauge Valentine' is a Southern Metalcore band from Bastrop and Monroe, Louisiana, with their debut album Shock Value released on 3rd October 2006. The band was initially supported by the Sound Vs. Silence label, with whom they released their debut EP, ''Exclamationaire''. The band's current record label is Solid State Records, to which bands such as Underoath and Norma Jean are signed.
The band as of recent has had somewhat of a shaky lineup, not uncommon amongst bands in the hardcore field nowadays.
The band formed under the original lineup of Jon Cooper on bass, Josh White on guitar, Jon Webster on drums, Jon Green on vocals, and shortly before gigging they added second guitarist Josh Gross. This lineup recorded the ''Exclamationaire'' album in 2005. In 2006 Josh Gross left and the band recorded ''Shock Value'' as a 4-piece with White doing both guitar tracks. Shortly after the release of this album another guitarist was added with no information given other than his name being Kyle Snellenberger. In the start of 2007 both Kyle and Josh White parted from the band, and thus Derek Campbell was brought on board as guitarist. By March 2007 drummer Jon Webster had left with Michael Watson being his replacement, and Josh Fife had been pulled in on second guitar.
