The '2001-02' season of the European UEFA Champions League football club tournament was won by Real Madrid. It was their ninth UEFA Champions League win. The final was memorable for Zinedine Zidane's magical goal, which is considered the best goal ever scored in a Champions League Final, and one of the best goals of all time.
