The Snake Pit) to indulge in the motorcycling atmosphere where over 600 bikes have gathered at once to "Charm the Snake". These brave souls take on the 489 curves that lie within 12 miles of the Pit. The Snake Pit also sports photos and parts of motorcycles that "Got Snakebit". "The Wailing Wall" of dismembered parts warns riders of the dangers of making a mistake on The Snake and concludes with the line: "And after we mourn, your parts will adorn this wall."
