'Basellaceae' is a family of flowering plants, in the order Caryophyllales in the clade core eudicots, according to the Angiosperm Phylogeny Group. The family comprises some two dozen species of herbaceous plants, some with climbing habits, in four genera:

★ ''Ullucus''
Members of economic importance include the ulluco and the Malabar spinach.
