'''Under the Sign of the Black Mark''' is the third album by Bathory. While it can hardly be classified as anything other than black metal, several tracks, most notably "Enter the Eternal Fire," displayed the group beginning to branch out into a more adventurous, epic territory. "Woman of Dark Desires" is a tribute to the band's namesake, Erzsébet Báthory, and has become one of their most recognized early tracks.
