U.S. ROUTE 35

'U.S. Route 35' is a north-south United States highway that runs northwest-southeast for 424 miles (682 km) from northern Indiana to the western suburbs of Charleston, West Virginia.

As of 2005, the highway's northern terminus is Michigan City, Indiana at U.S. Route 12. Its southern terminus is St. Albans, West Virginia, at U.S. Route 60. Currently, the West Virginia portion of the highway is being expanded to four lanes, mostly along a completely new route with a new southern terminus of Teays Valley, West Virginia at Interstate 64. The Ohio portion has already been upgraded to a four-lane highway/freeway between the West Virginia state line and Trotwood west of Dayton, Ohio.
