French immersion
The immersion program at Upper Grand District School Board previously extended to 12 elementary schools and 4 of the high schools.[1] More recently, the program has been cut back to 11 elementary schools and 3 high schools.[2] As of the 2004-2005 school year, a total of 1698 students were enrolled in the French immersion program.
