URSULA LEDóCHOWSKA

'Julia Maria Ledóchowska' (17 April 1865 in Loosdorf, Austria - 29 May 1939 in Rome, Italy) was a Catholic nun and the foundress of the Congregation of Ursuline Sisters of Agonizing Heart of Jesus. Beatified by Pope John Paul II on 20 June 1983, she was made a saint by him in 2005.
Members of the Polish nobility, she and her siblings - including Wlodimir Ledochowski, Maria Theresa Ledochowska and Ignacy Kazimierz Ledóchowski - were born on the estate of their father, Count Antoni Halka-Ledóchowski. Their uncle was Cardinal Ledóchowski.
