Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery

Vanessa Kensington is a British secret agent and the daughter of Mrs. Kensington, Austin's partner from the 1960s. She was born on June 10th 1970. She is at first disgusted by Austin's politically incorrect, womanizing sensibilities, but soon warms to his good nature and falls in love with him. At the end of the film, she and Austin marry and are shown (nude, with strategically placed props) in their honeymoon suite.

Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me

In the second Austin Powers film, after shagging with Austin, Vanessa is quickly revealed as a fembot after inexplicably malfunctioning and self-destructing. Austin briefly grieves, but quickly gets over it, enjoying his freedom and taking up with Felicity Shagwell.
Kensington's self-destruct at the beginning and Austin's very, very brief grieving period (and subsequent acceptance) are satires of how the women in James Bond movies inexplicably are not in the sequels to the previous films and nothing is mentioned of them ever again. When Austin reveals to Basil Exposition that Vanessa was really a fembot, Basil replies, "Yes, we knew all along, sadly," and the two quickly drop the subject as if nothing had happened.
It has been speculated by fans, that the real Vanessa might've been captured and replaced with a fembot during their raid on Dr. Evil's lair in the first film. The whereabouts of the real Vanessa would be unknown.
