'Verona Rupes' is a cliff on Miranda, a moon of Uranus.⁴ The cliff has been estimated at 5 km (3 miles)^[1] and 20 km (12.4 miles)^[2] high, which makes it the tallest known cliff in the solar system.^[3]
It may have been created by a major impact, which caused the moon to disrupt and reassemble^[4]3, or by the crust rifting^[5].
