'Verona Rupes' is a
cliff on Miranda, a moon of
Uranus.
4 The cliff has been estimated at 5 km (3 miles)
[1] and 20 km (12.4 miles)
[2] high, which makes it the tallest known cliff in the
solar system.
[3]
It may have been created by a major impact, which caused the moon to disrupt and reassemble
[4]3, or by the crust rifting
[5].
