Main Street District
The development features a pedestrian-oriented Main Street with several merchants, including a grocery store, pharmacy, bank, and restaurants. Located on the second and third floors above the retail district are the Main Street Lofts apartments. These apartments are managed by the P.B. Bell Companies.
Neighborhoods
Verrado's townhouses and single-family residences radiate from the Main Street District. The design of these neighborhoods was based on that of American neighborhoods of the early twentieth century, including those of nearby Phoenix's historic districts. Many homes feature garages that are accessed from a rear alley rather than from the street to provide for a more traditional streetscape.
Institutions
Verrado is home to Verrado Middle School (part of Litchfield Elementary School District) and Verrado High School (part of Agua Fria High School District). Adjacent to the Main Street District are the Verrado Village Sport & Health Club and the Raven Golf Club at Verrado.
