VILLENAVE-D'ORNON

'Villenave d'Ornon' is a ''commune'' in the ''département'' of Gironde and the Aquitaine region of France. It is the fourth-largest suburb of the city of Bordeaux, and is located to its south side. Thus, it is a member of the metropolitan Urban Community of Bordeaux. In the 1999 census, Villenave d"Ornon had a population of 27,500. The commune has a land area of 21.26 km² (8.209 sq mi).
