WARRNAMBOOL RAILWAY LINE, VICTORIA


The 'Warrnambool railway line' is a regional railway in Victoria, Australia. Its internal designation for its operator (V/Line Passenger) is Table 110. Most services are operated as trains between Warrnambool and Melbourne, with the minor exception of services that are trains between Melbourne and Geelong and then a coach services the rest of the way to Warrnambool.
In 1993 passenger services on the line were contracted to the private company West Coast Railway. This arrangement remained until 2004 when the contract was handed back the to the Government. V/Line have since operated services on the line.
