WEELEY RAILWAY STATION
'Weeley railway station' serves the village of Weeley in Essex, England. It is located on the Sunshine Coast Line, a railway operated by 'one' (the brand name of London Eastern Railway Ltd) that links Colchester to Clacton-on-Sea.
There is one train to Colchester and one to Walton-on-the-Naze each hour.
As at 2006 February, the original station house is almost derelict but is available to let. The original level crossing beside the station was replaced by a flyover (from which the photograph was taken) as part of the first Weeley by-pass in the 1930s.
