WILDCAT! BBS

'Wildcat!' is a bulletin board system (BBS) software package developed in 1986 by Mustang Software to create a dial-up BBS operating under PC-DOS. It was later ported to Microsoft Windows. By the release of Version 4 it was the basis for over 50,000 bulletin boards worldwide.
The product was later expanded to integrate Internet access under the name WINServer (Wildcat! Integrated Network Server). Mustang sold ''Wildcat!'' to Santronics Software, Inc. on November 19 1998.[1] Santronics had been an active third-party developer for the Wildcat! product lines since 1991.
