WILLIAM SCOTT (ARTIST)
'William Scott' (February 15, 1913 – December 28, 1989) was a British artist known for still life and abstract painting.
Born in Greenock, Scotland, son of an Irish father and Scottish mother, he represented Britain at the Venice Biennale in 1958. Retrospective at the Tate Gallery 1972. Literature: Monaograph y Norbert Lynton published by Thames & Hudson.[1]
