In ''Winner'' 8 Contestants are "dropped off in a remote location" where they battle for the right to stay in the game. As of February 2007 1 season of ''Winner'' has been filmed and had episodes released to the viewing public. Season 2 is currently filming, while season 3 is in pre-production.

Winner Game

The following information is about the rules/elements of the original series of ''Winner''.

Tribes

At least 8 competitors are "stranded in remote locations around the globe" (ie: French Polynesia, South Africa, Andes) and while there are divided into 2 tribes of 4. During the players stay on ''Winner'' they must form alliances with their tribemates, and compete against the opposing tribe in challenges. Halfway through the game the tribes merge into 1, and the competition becomes individual.

Challenges

Every couple days the ''Winner'' contestants are required to compete in challenges. Typically challenges are for immunity, which protects the tribe who holds it from attending Island Temple where players are eliminated. During the first week of ''Winner'' while the players are in tribes, the 2 tribes compete against each other in the challenges. However, during the second week of the game the 2 tribes merge into 1, and players are no longer competing for their tribe. They are competing for themselves, and only 1 player will win immunity. However, in one case during ''Winner: Tahuata'' At the final 4 stage both Jeremy and Brendan won immunity, leaving 2 players vulnerable at Island Temple. Also from ''Winner: Tahuata'' at final 3 Jeremy won the proper final 3 immunity challenge, however Brendan and Jeremy both agreed to do a sudden-death Endurance-trivia challenge, which Jeremy lost, resulting in his elimination from the game.

Island Temple

Once every 2 or 3 days one of the tribes hikes to the dreaded Island Temple. Here is where the players cast secret ballots, and vote contestants out of the game. Starting at final 7 the eliminated players return to the game as part of the Island Council.

Island Council

Starting at final 7 as players are voted off they return to become part of the Island Council. When it is down to the final 2 players on the final night, the 5 previously eliminated contestants return to vote for who they think deserves to win the game.

Winner Seasons

# '''Winner 1: Tahuata''' was set in the Marquesas Islands, French Polynesia, on the small island of Tahuata. Brendan was the Ultimate Winner in this season of Winner, with Ashley coming in a close second. There was only a 1 vote difference between the two in the final Island Council vote. The season was filmed from early December 2006 to early January 2007, and episodes aired from early January 2007 to early February 2007.
# '''Winner 2: South Africa''' is the second installment in the Winner series, and is set in the rugged Limpopo River on the border of South Africa and Botswana. The season began filming in late January 2007, and as of February 18, 2007 it was in the final 5 phase. Episodes are schedules to air from late February to early March.
# '''Winner 3: Andes — The Inca Empire''' is set in the most amazing Winner location yet, Machu Picchu, high in the Andes mountains. The season is currently in pre-production.

Concept History

The game, ''Winner'' was originally a Survivor fan-fiction story. However, months later the format was changed to that of a Reality game show, but the fan-fiction story may be read at MSN Groups.
