WISCONSIN WORKS

Wisconsin's welfare program, Wisconsin Works, or W-2 is a "work first" program, focusing on placing individuals in unsubsidized employment or community service jobs, rather than education and training, to promote self-sufficiency and reduction of the welfare rolls.
