WOLVERINE-HOOSIER ATHLETIC CONFERENCE

The 'Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference' (WHAC) is a conference of eight colleges and universities in the U.S. states of Michigan and Indiana. Founded in 1992, the conference was created as a successor group for the now-defunct NAIA District 23. The conference is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, and is headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The member institutions are:

Aquinas College, Grand Rapids, Michigan (founding member)

Concordia University, Ann Arbor, Michigan (founding member)

Cornerstone University, Grand Rapids, Michigan (founding member)

Davenport University, Grand Rapids, Michigan (joined 2005)

Indiana Institute of Technology, Fort Wayne, Indiana (joined 1998)

Madonna University, Livonia, Michigan (joined 1997)

Siena Heights University, Adrian, Michigan (founding member)

University of Michigan-Dearborn, Dearborn, Michigan (joined 2004)
Founding institutions that are no longer part of the WHAC include Tri-State University, which departed in 2003, and Spring Arbor University, which departed in 2004.
