History
Previous leagues the club participated in include the West Midlands League, Midland Football Alliance and Southern League.
The club was formed on 9th September 1902 following the liquidation of another local side, Berwick Rangers. They took over Berwick's fixture list in the Birmingham League for another 36 years.
After leaving the Birmingham League, Worcester City entered the Southern League and remained there until the formation of the Alliance Premier League (now Football Conference in 1979).
City stayed in the top division of non-league football before suffering relegation in 1984/5 (the club had been top of the league before Christmas).
The manager is Andy Preece. The current playing staff includes George Clegg formerly of Manchester United.
Worcester's finest football moment was their FA Cup victory over Liverpool FC (then in the old second division, shortly before the legendary Bill Shankly took over as manager), beating their illustrious opponents 2-1 in 1959. They lost in the 4th round to Sheffield United.
