'Yahya ibn Ma'in' (Arabic: يحيى بن معين) , ''Abu Zakarya Yahya ibn Ma'in/Mu`in''.
Biography
He was a close friend of Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal; however Ahmad stopped speaking to him after the ordeal of the Mu'tazilites, for Yahya had not joined Ahmad in speaking out against their theological heresies.
