YANGON RIVER

The 'Yangon River' (also known as 'Rangoon River' or 'Hlaing River') is an estuary that runs from Yangon to the Andaman Sea. The channel is navigable by ocean-going vessels and thus plays a critical role in the economy of Myanmar.
