Boundless Journeys invites families to join its popular Ecuador: The Galapagos Islands adventure trip from December 25, 2008 - January 3, 2009.

A perfect family vacation for the holidays, Boundless Journeys' naturalist-led cruise on a private yacht introduces parents, grandparents, and kids to many wonders that are unique to the
Galapagos Islands. Among the unique wildlife encountered will be blue-footed boobies, land iguanas, lively sea lions, penguins, giant tortoises, and many other diverse species. Family-friendly activities include:
HIKING: Daily island visits involve easy, intermediate, or difficult hikes. Every day includes at least one expedition to a specific island. Hikes involve wildlife observation and explanations by a kid-friendly naturalist guide on many issues concerning the islands in
Ecuador.
SNORKELING: Snorkeling is one of the most popular activities in the Galapagos Islands, and there are daily opportunities to snorkel in one of the largest marine reserves in the world!
KAYAKING: Sea kayaks are the ideal means by which to explore the cliffs and shores of the islands. There are great opportunities to go kayaking to coves, mangroves and beaches. Penguins can be seen up-close as they swim with our clear-bottom acrylic kayaks.
PANGA RIDES: Small and maneuverable, pangas are great for viewing the unique volcanic formations as well as shore birds. In the islands' mangrove estuaries it is very common to see sea turtles, rays, and even sharks.
OTHER KID-FRIENDLY FEATURES: This departure offers special "Kids Club" activities like star-gazing and movie nights. Each child will receive a kid's expedition journal for tracking wildlife sightings and making notes. A collection of board games and special kid's menus help to round out the family-friendly experience.
The cost of this great family winter holiday is as follows: Price per person: $4595 (includes $300 holiday surcharge); Fuel surcharge: $223 per person. Prices are per person based on double occupancy. Please visit:
