About 30 km from Danang in the South-West, is one of the oldest cities in South-East Asia. During 17th and 18th centuries, Hoi An was a busy commercial port for the exchange of commodities between the West and the East. Merchants from Japan, China, Dutch, Portuguese, Chinese, and other trading vessels came here to deal in valuable products like silk, fabrics, elephant tusks, jewelry gold, pepper and cinnamon... Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese architecture. After the Thu Bon River linking Hoi An to the sea silted up ocean going ships were no longer able to sail into town and trade therefore moved 30km up the coast to Tourane, known nowadays as Danang.

Arrival Da Nang airport, greet and transfer directly to Hoi An. If time permits, you can stop at the foot of Marble Mountain where located the Non Nuoc craft village. You can buy marble statues or colored marble bracelets and rings... the handicraft products made by many marble workers who can be found busy with sculptures and marble bas-reliefs.

DAY 2: HOI AN - MY SON - HOI AN (B/L/-)
AM: Meet and drive to My Son, about 40km from Hoi An. Located in the remote jungle valley, My Son is a complex of the ruins of Cham's temples dated between 7th and 13th century. This site is used to be the Cham intellectual and religious center.
After approximately 01 hour driving, arrive My Son. To visit the site, you will be transferred by specialized Russian Jeep (4WD). There remain 20 towers among about 70 original towering temples. Square and built of red bricks without mortar, the complex is the typical of the Cham architecture.
Return to Hoi An. Lunch at restaurant in the town.
