My Top 10 Places to Go Adventure

Here a list of my favourite places I've travelled.

Mount Everest, Tibet and Nepal. To really flex your explorer muscles, Matson suggests a trek to the Mount Everest base camp, about 17,000 feet up the 29,000-foot mountain on the Tibetan side. Or if climbing isn't your cup of tea, you may be more comfortable sipping something warm at the Rum Doodle Bar in Kathmandu, Nepal, in the shadow of the monster mountain.

Mount Rushmore National Memorial, near Keystone, South Dakota, is a monumental granite sculpture by Gutzon Borglum, located within the United States Presidential Memorial that represents the first 150 years of the history of the United States of America with 60-foot (18 m) sculptures of the heads of former United States presidents: George Washington (1732–1799), Thomas Jefferson (1743–1826), Theodore Roosevelt (1858–1919), and Abraham Lincoln (1809–1865).

Antarctica is a land of extremes: it is the coldest and driest continent on Earth and has the highest average elevation of any continent. The landscape remains mostly untouched by humans, with only a handful of scientific bases and a "permanent" population of scientists numbering only a few thousand. Visitors to Antarctica generally must brave rough sea crossings aboard ice-strengthened vessels, but those who do are rewarded with amazing scenery and tremendous wildlife.

And You? What's Your favourite adventure destination?

Hi! Mine is the Grand Canyon. I wrote a blog entry in response to your question.
