Got a hankering for some really good moules frites?

A weekend or short visit to Brussels is the perfect amount of time to see and experience all that this magical, historic city has to offer – including some great local beers and moules made a dozen of traditional ways.

Hotel Metrople Brussels

As the city’s only 19th-century hotel still in operation, the Hotel Metropole at heart of Brussels’ historic district is a great option for discerning travellers looking for an elegant and luxurious place to stay.

Hotel: When you step into the lobby of the Hotel Metropole, it’s hard not to appreciate the golden French Renaissance architecture and style.  From the front desk to the arched main hallway with authentic frescoes.

Accommodations: The hotel offers 298 rooms and 15 suites with both traditional, art-deco-, and modern design elements.  Rooms range from Superior Rooms to Privilege Rooms, Junior Suites, and Suites.  All rooms include internet, WiFi internet, minibars, safes, and marble-finished bathrooms.

Location: For travellers to Brussels, the location of Hotel Metropole is perfect for exploring the city’s sights.  Just behind the hotel is Rue Neuve: the city’s main pedestrian shopping street.  Within a 5 minute walk from the hotel, visitors can also see the Grand Place or Grote Markt, the famous Manneken Pis statue, the Bourse building in Brussels, as well as seafood restaurants around Place Sainte-Catherine.

Dining: Hotel Metropole boasts restaurant L’Alban Chambon where guests can enjoy classic French dining in an Italian baroque setting.  The hotel also offers the 19ieme bar for cocktails and drinks or its outdoor Café Metropole, a great spot for people-watching and having a drink before heading in for the night.
