Got the gambling itch? Read on with TripAtlas.com as we take you to 10 of the world's top destinations in the world for casinos and gambling.

Las Vegas StripLas Vegas. Nothing beats Sin City when it comes to the best place in the world for gambling.  From the fountains of the Bellagio or the craps table at Caesar's Palace, Vegas is legendary - and remember, "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas."

Monaco is everything luxury, expensive, and chic.  Although Monaco is just a short train ride from Nice, Monaco is a world of its own.  Here, try your luck at the Grand Casino, Monte Carlo and rub elbows with the rich and famous.

Macau is quickly becoming an exotic version of Las Vegas and is just a 1-hour ferry ride from Hong Kong.  Visit the old strip that has old oriental-like charm with the classic Casino Lisboa or Sands Casino. The new Cotai Strip that is quickly being built up with its first completed building in August 2007: the Venetian Macau, as the largest casino in the world.

Atlantic City is second to Las Vegas when it comes to gambling in the United States with an entire street devoted to casinos and hotels.  With big names like Caesars, Bally's, Harrah's and Tropicana, you'll feel like you're right at home here.

Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas is by far the best place to gamble when you're in the Caribbean.  The giant resort and its giant casino offers endless play, not to mention fantastic restaurants, attractions, and beaches for soaking in the sun.

Sun City, South Africa is this side of the world's version of Las Vegas.  Also set in the desert, Sun City is 90 minutes from Johannesburg and has the casinos, water parks, animal attractions, and mega-resorts you would expect from a casino destination.

Costa Luminosa's CasinoCruise ships are by far one of the best destinations for gambling.  Casinos can be found on nearly every cruise ship today and are the perfect environment for gambling, since passengers that are stuck out at sea for 1-2 days have nothing else to do but partake in a cruise ship's offerings: the swimming pools, restaurant, spas - and casinos.

Baden Baden, Germany is best known as a destination for its famous thermal waters and pools.  For others, it's also home to the Baden-Baden Casino or the "Kurhaus," which is Germany's oldest and largest casino - first opened in 1809.

Goa, India is known for its white sands, but when the sun sets, Goa is also India's only place that allows gambling.  Here you'll find floating casinos like the MS Caravela that holds 300 players, a swimming pool, gaming tables, and slot machines.

Niagara Falls is our last pick for the world's 10 best places for casinos and gambling.  Visit to see the magnificent Niagara Falls; the fantastic family attractions like MarineLand, Bird Kingdom, or Nightmares Fear Factory haunted house; or try your hand at some games of chance at Fallsview Casino or Casino Niagara.
