(1.75 mi ascent) This is was a 4.5 star rated terrain Geocache, in Palo Duro canyon, named "the lost canyon cache" It was nearly two hours ascent to this point (the summit) but still another .75 mile hike to get to the actual cache. The entire "Jnco_hippie" Geocacheing clan went on this one. Aubry, Matt, Mum, Myself, and Sissydog. just so you know, Mum has leukemia (CML), and still does all this, and more!  | Sleeping with Coyotes in Palo Duro Canyon! We hiked all day.... Nearly 15 miles... in 100 degree heat and were eager to catch some shut eye. But were awakened to COYOTES in our Camp area. Howling LOUD. Adventure Indeed! |
