Travel along Arizona Route 89 from the Navajo Bridge at Marble Canyon past the Vermillion cliffs to the pine forests of the Kaibab Plateau. Just to make a correction. The Navajo Bridge seen in the video is the old bridge, which is now closed to traffic and is used by pedestrians. It was built in 1929. He ran and hid in the rocks for a long time, so I had to sit it out for a while, waiting for him to come out. My patience finally paid off. This Chuckwalla finally felt comfortable enough with me around, that he stayed out for at least 20 minutes ...
