Cali 2008 (PART 3): Santana Row
Ok I'm SORRY for being so lazying and taking so long to post PART 3, but here it is! Part three is all about Santana Row. This video will be a little more interesting because now that I'm home I actually have time to sit down and do a little commentary and/or narration to PART 3 (which is also my 3rd day). I really enjoyed Satanna Row and i think anyone who goes to Northern CA should visit it. It reminds me of Kirkland, WA but people are a bit richer looker, nicer, and the cars are mind ...
Travis Kidd - "Anytown, USA"
and country leanings, his live show reveals a background influenced just as much by the guitar-driven rock of the 70s and 80s. Based on his musical and physical ties to Oklahoma, its not uncommon to hear Travis referred to as part of the Red Dirt music scene, even though thats not completely accurate. Although he does travel in similar circles and shares a mutual respect with those artists; having shared the stage with Cross Canadian Ragweed, Jason Boland and the Stragglers, No Justice ...
Preparing for takeoff in an EMB145 at Denver International Airport
I like the EMB145 because it's small, quick to load and unload (at 30 metres in length it only holds 50 passengers), and has unusual seating (a single row of seats on one side of the isle and two rows of seats on the other). Over the past two decades I've flown from Denver to Oklahoma at least 50 times on business - it's a quick hour-and-a-quarter flight that's usually trouble free. The EMB145 makes it that much more enjoyable! Here's my personal page on travel: www.rogerwendell.com 09-16-2008 ...
ZDF - Kika Logo Kids Interview Tokio Hotel (English Translations) 21.10.2009
definitely say now: Tokio Hotel are among the great ones of this world. The band just conquered the charts all over Europe with their new album, and the Logo-kid-reporters Felipa and Paul met the boys. Felipa: Ok, so we're the Logo kid reporters, and we have a few questions for you. B: Ok. T: Right on. Paul: Do you mind when some people don't like your music? B: No. Actually, I think that's part of it: In the end, when you make music, it's about a certain content and feelings - and in the end ...
Last Day of Chemo: Dance With Me!
shingles, and countless other nightmares and disappointments along the way. Today marks the end of weeks of having to get shots in my arm three days in a row. The end of tasting metal in my mouth all day and never being able to do anything on Saturdays because I inexplicably fall asleep for four hours around noon. The end of not being able to travel or get ridiculously inebriated or be around sick children. I should have woken up ecstatic. When I finally got out of bed, I didn't feel like I ...
Ringing on the Runway
was bad for our travel time, but good for knowing when the sun was going down. Since we were on the runway, there was also no question about the time or place. The only sun to be seen however, was reflected in the terminal window. So when it was time, I asked the man sitting by the window in our row if he would mind filming and ringing bells. He said OK as long as it wasn't too loud. dailybell2008.blogspot.com ... daily bell ringing invitation performance music do-it-yourself sunrise sunset ...

Lec 29 | MIT 8.02 Electricity and Magnetism, Spring 2002
it, then we have 100% reflection. Let me first turn on the laser so that there's a little bit of light, and I'm going to show it to you there for those of you who are not sitting very close, and that means I have to set the light situation -- OK, so there you see, the light coming in, just the way we had it on the blackboard, this is the way it comes in, in water, this is the reflected part, and this is the one that is refracted into the air. So that is this one here. And now I'm going ...
Spacevidcast 2.22 with Omega Envoy guest Jason Dunn
that, at this time has not happened yet, so whether they delay, not delay, ground the fleet, not ground the fleet, whatever. 2010 is the end of the space shuttle program, so just keep that in mind. Moving into private space travel, because private space travel has a little bit more control over what they do and because our guest tonight, kind of one of the cool GLXP teams. We'll get to that in a little bit though. SpaceX has actually launched ... you know I skipped an entire story, that's ...
