In Nov. 2008 we toured Bhutan for two weeks. We chose Bhutanese Travel agency, Bara Lynka Tours and Travel (www.baralynka.com) to arrange our trip. The focus of our journey was on people, places and festivals. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend Bara Lynka, especially for smaller groups.
Bhutan
Druk Yul, the Land of the Thunder Dragon is a remote and small Kingdom in the Himalaya region which held its first democratic elections on March 24th, 2008. It is home to one of the most unique cultures in the world. Bhutan has breathtaking sights, scenic countryside, an almost unspoilt nature and Bhutanese are friendly people.
