Austria Travel Graz: Uhrturm featuring a great view of the city
Thisvideo clip was taken on August 1, 2007 during my trip to Austria, my home country. I started my day off with a quick hike with two of my friends through the Raabklamm (Raab Gorge), a deep river valley that is cut into the surrounding limestone cliffs and features numerous wooden bridges and trails that snake through the narrow valley. Then I had a lovely Austrian lunch at a rural restaurant and made friends with some freely grazing cows. Finally I went on an excursion to the Styrian ...
Toronto Travel: Ireland Park with view of downtown
Thisvideo clip was taken on September 1, 2007 during my cycling trip to see the Canadian International Airshow which is always held on Labour Day weekend. I started in Toronto's east end, cycled in on Gerrard Street through the colourful neighbourhoods of Little India and Toronto's eastern Chinatown, both of which feature ethnic cuisine, vegetable, fruit and retail stores. Then I crossed the Don Valley Parkway and cycled by Regent Park, a public housing development from the 1950s and 1960s ...
Olana State Historic Site
offers spectacular views of the Hudson River and Catskill Mountains and is one of the most popular cultural tourism destinations in the Hudson Valley. The Olana Partnership, a private not-for-profit organization, works cooperatively with New York State to support its restoration, development and improvement. Frederic Church first came to the Hudson Valley in 1844 to study with Thomas Cole, widely recognized as the founder of the Hudson River School. After two years under Coles tutelage ...
Toronto Travel: Biking Tour to Toronto Islands 2007 - View from bridge
These video clips were taken during my biking tour on July 12, 2007. I rode from Toronto's east end through the Don Valley, underneath the famous Bloor Viaduct Bridge, into the downtown east side of Toronto. I briefly stopped at the Distillery District, Toronto's award-winning heritage and entertainment district that encompasses 44 restored Victorian industrial buildings that have been restored into restaurants, cafés, galleries, unique retail stores and even a theatre. From there I rode to ...
Toronto Travel Discoveries: At the edge of the Scarborough Bluffs
This video clip was taken during my bike ride to the Scarborough Bluffs. I actually decided to ride eastwards because from 2 pm yesterday there was a huge 5-alarm fire raging very close to our place. A car wrecking company with dozens of car-casses went up in flames and a huge cloud of black smoke started covering the city and drifted northwestwards. According to the news it was a tire fire which released a plume of toxic fumes. Apparently, even this morning the fire was still smouldering ...
Happy New Year from Stella Stewart
stellastewart.com Happy New Year from Stella Stewart! Stella took a drive in her new 2008 black Mustang Pony (with the cool 18" polished wheels) from Malibu to the top of the Santa Monica Mountains overlooking the San Fernando Valley. She modeled for a quick photo shoot for her publicity photos for her new Hollywood movie, The Fantasy, which begins filming in May. Stella is putting behind her sexy teenage girl image and now establishing herself as an accomplished actress (and still sexy ...

Staunton, Virginia: Great view over the city
This video was taken on October 2 during our fall vacation in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. Somehow the name "Shenandoah" just has such a beautiful ring to it, no wonder, since it means "beautiful daughter of the stars". We were staying in a condo in Massanutten, a ski area and did a number of day trips. Our first trip took us to Harrisonburg, a historic Virginia town, 15 minutes west of Massanutten. I started by interviewing the travel expert at the Harrisonburg Tourism Office and then ...
