I actually decided to ride eastwards because from 2 pm yesterday there was a huge 5-alarm fire raging very close to our place. A car wrecking company with dozens of car-casses went up in flames and a huge cloud of black smoke started covering the city and drifted northwestwards. According to the news it was a tire fire which released a plume of toxic fumes. Apparently, even this morning the fire was still smouldering ... |
