Itinerary/Activities	I had the opportunity to go on a Rotary International Youth Exchange to Brazil for one year! I spent the year learning Portuguese, living with families, learning the culture and traveling the beautiful country. I did a tour of the North East, the Amazon, Iguazu Falls, Pantanal and Bonita, and traveled a lot around the south visiting many cities in Santa Catarina, Rio Grande Do Sul, and Paranà as well as spending lots of time at the Praia!
Most memorable part of trip	The most memorable part of my trip was tour I took around the Northeast of Brazil right at the time of Carnvial! Starting in Fortaleza, Natal, Receife, Maceio, Salvador, Porto Seguro, and Rio De Janeiro! Seeing the final parade of Samba Champions in the Sambadrome was unbelievable and a must-see!
Useful tips	Brazil is an amazing country with beautiful scenery and great people! I've been as far north as Manaus in the Amazon to Rio Grande Du Sul. Rio is a dangerous place, so take the necessary precautions when visiting the city, or go on a tour.
