First we'll explore the historic city of Athens, one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world. As we learn about the Greek Gods, we will visit famous sites such as the Acropolis of Athens, Ancient Agora, the Theatre of Dionysus, Roman Agora, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, and Hadrian's Library. We will take a high-speed ferry through the Aegean Sea and visit the fun and wild island of Mykonos, experiencing the vibrant island’s night life and incredible beaches. Then off to the amazing beauty of the volcanic island of Santorini. A charming, tranquil island and stunningly picturesque. Enjoy a full sightseeing tour of amazing sites such as the famous blue domed churches, including a stop at a local winery. We will see the pleasures of Santorini and be able to learn about and sample Greece's famous wines. And of course no visit to Santorini would be complete without a sampling of the local vegetarian Keftades specialty...fried tomato balls anyone?
